About Loomis House
Chartered in 1902 as the Holyoke Home for Aged People, Loomis House has been part of the Holyoke community for generations. Loomis House moved to its current location in Holyoke in 1981, becoming the first continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Massachusetts. Today, Loomis House offers independent living, assistance in living, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation with memory care to meet seniors’ changing housing and healthcare needs.
Loomis House is located in a residential neighborhood backing onto Anniversary Hill Park. Our campus is easily accessible to Interstate 91 and is close to Holyoke Medical Center and local attractions including the Children’s Museum of Holyoke, the Holyoke Merry-Go-Round, Lupa Zoo, the Volleyball Hall of Fame, and Wistariahurst Museum.
